This reinterpretation of the Superman franchise features a teenage Clark Kent struggling to come to grips with his emerging superpowers in Kansas. He must hide his abilities from Lana Lang, the girl of his dreams and from his friend Lex Luthor, who will one day become Superman's nemesis. Complicating matters is the presence of kryptonite throughout Smallville, which causes strange mutations in locals and cripples Clark. David Nutter ("The X-Files") is among the executive producers of the action/adventure drama.I am absolutely in love with Smallville! Who knows, maybe I'm one of the many that won't admit they wish Superman truly existed. But, one thing is obvious; the cast is hot, the story line keeps getting better, and we the fans can't wait to see Clark flying!
